Amada Anderson (Beth/Web Master) is no stranger to fresh fruit!  She is an active intern to the Artistic Director, Frank Callo, and can occasionally be seen performing in their variety show fundraisers.  Amada was most recently seen in Duncan Pflaster's Empress of Sex, directed by Glory Kadigan, which won “Audience Favorite” as part of MTWorks.  Last summer, as part of Planet Connections Festivity, she won the "Outstanding Supporting Actress" award for the role of Darcie in Andrew Rothkin's play Danny.  She is the Associate Director of Special Events, Lounge and Website for The Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, and Executive Director and Choreographer for Thrill The World NYC.  Thank you to the cast/crew/festival for this awesome kung fu experience!  Visit www.manada.biz for more info.

Scott Andrews (Buck) is a graduate of Penn State University's B.A. Theatre Program.  Since coming to New York two years ago, Scott has had the chance to work with a number of incredible people and companies, including the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, where he was most recently seen as Newjack in Jonathan Wallace's Hummingbirds. Other recent roles include the Prince in Nicu's Spoon Theatre's production of Cinderella, and Dave in Adam Roebuck's Snapshot.  This is Scott's first production with the Fresh Fruit Festival and he's very excited to work with such a terrific cast on such an incredible show.  He wishes everyone in the festival, especially his cast, a terrific run.

Michael Castillo (The Director) is thrilled to be working with the cast and crew of Ninja Motorcycle Babes.  B.A. in Theater Arts from SUNY New Paltz.  Theater credits include: Contemporary American Theater Festival -- Pig Farm (Tim U/S), The Anarchists Cookbook (Jordan); Collegiate level theatre -- Red Masquerade (Sid/Crawford), Creation.Robbery.Apathy.Punishment (Man 1), The Pinballs (Thomas J), Art (Marc), More Than a Red Ribbon (Alex), Eye of the Beholder (James), The Abuse Awareness Project (Kevin).  Film credits include “The Art of Love” and Television credits include “How to Make it America”.  Michael would like to thank his family and friends for their constant love and support.

Tania Jeudy (Cathy) is taking part in the Fresh Fruit Festival for the first time, and she is grateful to be working with Andrew Rothkin and this awesome cast.  Native to New York, Tania was seen in the multi-media theatre production of Sweeter Dreams.  She also took part in the 2011 National New Born Festival in a production of the staged reading of The Empress of Sex at the City College of New York.  Tania studied acting at the Stella Adler School of Acting.  Tania would like to thank all her friends and family for their support.

Eric Percival (Cal) has performed on stages in New York, London, and throughout Europe and the US.  He was recently awarded the “Outstanding Supporting Actor” award in the 2010 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity for The Picture of Dorian Grey, and the “Outstanding Lead Actor” award in the 2008 Midtown International Theatre Festival for his performance in Bubby's Shadow.  Other recent NYC performances include leading roles in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (T. Schreiber Studio), The Changing Room (T. Schreiber Studio), Horatio's Rise (Theatre Askew), Jean and Joe (Brooklyn Arts Exchange), and A New Theory of Vision (Sanctuary Playwrights Theatre).  Training: London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (London), T. Caroline Marie Samaan (Mary T.) has taken on an assortment of roles in theatre and film in New York City.  Theatrical credits include: Bubby's Shadow for the MITF, Eating Mimi at Manhattan Rep; Chepachet, By the Sea, American Portraits, The Undefeated, and Curing Ron at the American Theatre of Actors; Measure for Measure at the Looking Glass Theatre; Prince Trevor Amongst the Elephants in the Spotlight On Halloween Festival; the 12 Angriest Women at 440 Studios; 12 Angrier Women at Chashama Studios; 12 Angry Women at The John Houseman Theatre; Anything for You at Don’t Tell Mama’s; UTC #61’s 24/7 Festival at The Tada Theatre; Radioactive Republicans & Dancing Democrats at The Greenwich Street Theatre. She attended Fordham University at Lincoln Center and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.  She is happy to be a part of this production. Daniela Thome (Actress) favorite roles in New York include Agua in Bea Carmina’s Tip of the Iceberg, premiering at The Lark Mexican Playwrights’ Exchange, as well as Maggie in Brett Epstein’s Life Without Joey.  She formed part of the ensemble creating Oh de Sea!, where she played the goddess Athena, directed by Tamilla Woodard.  She acted in Nicholas Linnehan’s Erosion, also directed by Andrew Rothkin.  She has also worked with the Gallery Players, The Barrow Group, and The Stella Adler Studio, where she also trained for two years. She produced and acted in Anton Dudley’s play BOB. Currently a member of The Actors Project, you can also catch her as the fabulous Blue Fairy in the musical Cinderella (See www.identitytheater.com for details!)  Keep an eye out for Daniela in the upcoming independent feature “Saudade”. Finally, she is so pumped up to perform with an amazing cast and crew in a show featuring Ninja Motorcycle Babes!

Storm Garner (Musician) was born in Washington DC in 1983 and raised in Paris, France. Based sometimes in Kraków, Poland, sometimes in the Californian desert, currently in the Upper West Side, she works as an actress, a composer, a writer, an editor, a raw food chef, a violinist and a singer-songwriter, while studying film and creative writing at Columbia University. Music is her true love, acting her secret indulgence, academia her bête noire. She owes much of her current zeal for creative collaborations in performance to La Mama, ETC, which became her first theatrical home in New York in 2006.

 

jessie_nelson

Jessie Nelson (Musician) is a versatile percussionist based out of New York City. She received her B.A. in Music from Arizona State University in 2006 and went on to gig with various jazz and theater groups in Phoenix, Arizona.  In the fall of 2009, she moved to New York and began working in the Off-Broadway and jazz scenes in New York while pursuing her M.F.A. in Performance and Interactive Media Arts from Brooklyn College, and finishing in May of 2011.  She can be seen in the jazz clubs and on Off-Broadway theater stages in New York, as well as teaching private lessons to the next generation of percussionists.

Meave Shelton (Musician/Musical Director) is a songwriter/composer, multi-instrumentalist, and performer. She has contributed incidental music and sound elements to theatrical productions such as Sound of the Sun at La MaMa ETC, The Ballad of Baxter Street at Theater for the New City, and In the Bedroom of Toots and Company at Makor, and her solo work has been featured at Chashama and in Dixon Place's Warning: Not for Broadway festival.  She has played accordion with Globular Cluster and the caroling group Myrth (in Artful Dodger-drag), and she teaches keyboards at the Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls.

Kim M. Jones (Press Representative) is happy to be working with White Rabbit Theatre and Producer/Director Andrew Rothkin again.  Kim's 19 year extensive NYC theatre experience includes being a Producer, Producer's Assistant, an AEA Stage Manager, and Casting Director.  Kim's production history includes the original production of Danny (White Rabbit Theatre) and two Stand-Up Comedy Showcases benefiting the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (KMJ Productions).  Education: B.A. St. John's University and American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  Kim's current alter ego is KMJ Fitness.  Visit online at: kmjfitness.com

Alex Moore (Lighting Designer) an award nominated lighting designer is fluent in all theatrical disciplines. Designs include La Luz De Un Cigarrillo and Is There Room In Your Heart (scenic design)(Teatro LA TEA), Hell and High Water or Lessons for When the Sky Falls (Hudson Guild Theatre), D’ARRANGED MARRIAGE (Paul Robeson Theatre, London / The Triad, New York), A Taste of Honey (The New Cherry Lane Theatre), Miles to Babylon (American Theater of Actors).  Work later this year will include Heavy Like the Weight of a Flame (official selection Edinburgh Fringe) and his first opera, Temple Of The Souls.  Other festivals include The One Festival, Midtown International Theater Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York International Fringe Festival, New York Musical Festival, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity and TeatroStageFest.  Alex Is excited to be working with Andrew again, and as usual, “We take no prisoners except the Babes.”

Natalie Neckyfarow (Choreographer) creates dances that communicate stories through movement connected to emotional context.  She loves the challenge of discovering a unique movement vocabulary for each project.  Natalie has choreographed for film, theatre and concert dance.  Credits include: Agrippina (world premiere), Love's Labours Lost (Shakespeare in the Valley), and “In Between” (short musical film).  Her concert dance choreography has been produced by Notes in Motion, STEPS Performance Lab, Celebrations Dance Company, and Smith College.  She also works as an actress, dancer and singer and was a Teaching Artist with Camp Broadway from 2007-2010.  Natalie earned her Bachelor of Arts with High Honors in Dance from Smith College and a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies from the Laban Centre London.  Next up: Hitgirls: A Kick Ass Musical Comedy in Heelswww.natalieneckyfarow.com

Ian Roettger (Fight Director) has fight directed at the NY Fringe, the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, Midtown International Theatre Festival, and the New York Renaissance Festival, staging fights for the world premieres of The Battle of Spanktown, Cake, and Layla and Harley, Together Again.  He is the resident fight director for the Medieval Festival at Fort Tryon Park, the largest single day event in the Manhattan Parks Systemand, most recently, choreographed the American Globe Theatreʼs touring production of Macbeth.  He also works on staff with Swordplay Stage Combat, New York’s oldest continuously running stage combat teaching organization.  www.swordplaystagecombat.com

Andrew Rothkin (Director, Producer), an award-winning actor, director, playwright and producer, has been creating theatre for over 25 years. His directing highlights are comprised of published works, including The Tiny Closet, Motherlove, Hello from Bertha and The Lady of Larkspur Lotion; new works, including Smarty Spice and The Serial Killer, FB, Hitchcock Blonde and Psychodrama; and Andrew’s original work, including Danny, Voice, CHiLLS, Love Bites and Meredith’s Ring (Winner, Outstanding Production of a One-Act Play, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Awards, 2009.) Andrew wrote and co-produced Bubby’s Shadow in 2008 (Winner, Outstanding Production of a New Drama Play, Midtown International Theater Festival.) Andrew is also a teacher/coach and the Artistic Director of White Rabbit Theatre.  Much thanks to Lisa, Frank, Carol, Louis, Sue, and the amazing cast and crew…and to Andrew’s family… especially his greatly missed, dear mother.

Lisa Voss (Playwright) productions and readings include A Little Rebellion Now (NYC, DC), Ninja Motorcycle Babes (DC), Psychodrama (Hollywood, NYC, Seattle, DC), Tiny Madmen (DC, NYC, Hollywood), Smarty Spice and The Serial Killer (NYC, DC), MJ and The Ghost (NYC, DC), The Hen Gets a Flag (DC), and Wolf Whistle (DC, Wilmington). Her full-length play Tiny Madmen was a 2008 Next Generation Playwright's Contest finalist and a 2005 Reva Shiner New Play Contest finalist.  In 2004, she won the Reverie Productions Next Generation Playwright Contest and the Spotlight On Writer's Award for Best One-Act or Short Form Play.  In 2002, she was the runner-up in the Source Summer Theatre Festival's 10-Minute Play Competition. In July 2006, she was accepted to, and participated in, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Summer Playwriting Intensive, led by Gary Garrison, in Washington, D.C.
